Features of the Game

The game is played between 2 opposing teams on a big field and about 9 or 10 players from the same team will be on the field. It has four bases called first base, second base, third base and home plate on the infield. The pitcher’s circle will be found at the center of the square and a small and flat rectangular area called rubber is seen within the circle. The game will be officiated by neutral umpires. The umpires and players are allowed to ask for a short stoppage of the game at any point if the ball is not currently in play or immediately after a play if the outcome of the play is clear.

How it is played?

The main aim of the game is to score more points or runs than the opposing teams by hitting or batting a ball into play after which the player will have to run around the pitch touching all the bases in succession. The ball will be a sphere made up of a light material and is covered with synthetic or leather material. Different types of bats, protective gears and other equipment can be used based on the preference of the player.
